"Let the little children come!"

Here at Calvary Heights Baptist Church, we place a high priority on children.
This emphasis starts with the smallest of children right in our Nursery.
We provide nursery care for children under three years of age for all of the services.

It is the Goal of our Nursery Ministry to provide care, love & safety to our babies and toddlers while preparing them to meet the Saviour & to learn God's word.

In order to better meet the needs of our youngest children,
our Nursery Ministry consists of two separate areas:

(1) The Infant Nursery - approximately 0 to 12 months
(2) The Toddler Nursery - one and two year olds

Our Nursery is well-staffed with great workers minded with safety & care.  This ministry is led by Nancy Sobczynski.




Because Jesus gladly welcomed ministry to children, (see Mark 10:13-16) we too enthusiastically welcome such an important ministry. Because God places such a high priority on children, teaching & care-giving for children is a high priority in our Children's Ministry.  We have been blessed with a large collection of devoted teachers and workers who are providing Love, Light & Leadership to the children
in our ministry.

junior churchThe Goal of our Children's Ministry is to provide our children Bible teaching while assisting the family in reaching children with the gospel & helping them become true disciples of Christ.

We provide Sunday School classes for each age group as well as a Junior Church hour.  We offer some classes on Wednesday also.  We especially love to host special events for the children throughout the year.  See some of the pictures of these events linked below.
