Forgiveness for Who?
From the best of people to the worst of people, all of us are in need of forgiveness.

All of us are in need of forgiveness for our sin.

Forgiveness from Whom?
All of us are in need of forgiveness from a Holy God for our sins against Him.
Isaiah 59:2 "Your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid His face from you."
All of us need to be forgiven for our sin or else we will spend eternity separated from God, receiving a just condemnation for our sin (hell).

How to Receive Forgiveness of Sins:
1) Acknowledge your sin in a spirit of repentance.
Recognize your sin before God - Repent of your sin to God.
Acts 17:30 "God now commandeth all men every where to repent."

2) Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sin.
Knowing the penalty for sin (hell), acknowledge God's sacrifice (Jesus Christ) by faith.

1 Peter 3:18 "Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God."
Galatians 2:16 "Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ."
Romans 5:1 "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."

3) Confess your faith in Jesus Christ, trusting in Him alone to bring you forgiveness of sins.
In your own words, say a simple but sincere prayer to God acknowledging your sin, your penalty, His sacrifice and His offer of forgiveness. Ask God to give you forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ and to grant you eternal salvation.
